Getting started
Where do I get a server?
WanX is a client and does not include servers. Use the share link, QR code or subscription URL from the VPN provider you use, or from a server you run yourself.
How do I add one?
Tap + on the main screen, then scan a QR code, paste a link from the clipboard, or add a subscription URL. Subscriptions refresh automatically.
The server shows a timeout
The latency test performs a real handshake with the server. A timeout usually means the server is down or its settings changed — refresh the subscription or ask your provider.
Privacy
What is “Send device ID (HWID)”?
Some providers limit how many devices can use one subscription. With this setting on, WanX sends them a device code, the OS and the model when refreshing a subscription. Turn it off in Settings if your provider does not need it. See the Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my data?
Everything WanX stores is on your device: delete servers in the App, or delete the App. For wanx:// links, ask your provider to remove your device or email us.
Premium links (wanx://)
What is a wanx:// link?
An encrypted subscription link from a provider. It opens only in WanX and can be added on a limited number of devices; the servers then come from your provider like any subscription.
“Device limit reached”
The link has already been added on the maximum number of devices. Ask the provider to free a slot.
I am a provider
wanx:// links are a paid feature for VPN providers, arranged directly with us — never sold inside the App. Write to support@raycentral.net. Existing providers sign in at panel.wanx.dev.
